The Eskadron Softshell Jewel saddle pad from the Classic Sports 2026 collection is a compactly quilted saddle pad with a dirt-repellent softshell outer fabric, a jewel binding along the edge and a Cool-Dry underside. It is intended for riders who want a refined look without giving up comfort and stability under the saddle.
About this saddle pad
The Eskadron Softshell Jewel saddle pad belongs to the Classic Sports 2026 collection and owes its character to the outer fabric. Softshell feels supple, is dirt-repellent and holds its shape over time. In practice that last point is the biggest difference from an ordinary cotton outer fabric: even after a series of washes the pad still sits neat and crisp instead of going limp.
The quilting is compact, with a medium-thick filling. Compact means the stitch lines lie close together, which keeps the filling in place so it does not shift under the saddle. As a result the pad lies stable and supports an even pressure distribution across the horse's back, which you notice most during longer training sessions.
On the underside, Cool-Dry lies against the back. That material carries moisture away quickly and so helps keep the climate under the saddle pleasant, also during more intensive training moments. In the saddle area, anti-slip silicone surfaces provide extra grip, so the saddle stays in place better and you have to readjust less often.
Attachment runs via the Innostrap system and girth loops with a triple fixing option, so you can match the pad precisely to your own saddle and girth. The jewel binding along the edge gives the whole a subtle, sparkling touch that comes into its own in the arena, without the pad losing its sporty character.
