The Eskadron Glossy Jewel Contrast saddle pad from the Classic Sports 26 collection is a quilted pad with a glossy top fabric, a contrasting finish and jewel accents in the binding. Underneath sits a breathable Cool-Dry layer. It is intended for riders who want a polished look under the saddle and at the same time a pad that stays in place, in schooling and at a show.
About this saddle pad
The Eskadron Glossy Jewel Contrast saddle pad first stands out through its top fabric. Glossy is a lightly shining material that gives the pad depth and sets it apart from a matt, classic pad. On top of that comes a contrast finish: the binding and the quilting are made in a different colour, with fine jewel accents in the corded binding. The effect stays limited to the edges, which keeps the whole looking polished without becoming busy.
Underneath that top fabric sits a pad that above all has to do its job. The contrast quilting is compactly stitched and combined with a medium-thick filling. That combination provides a stable position under the saddle and supports an even pressure distribution on the back. The underside is made in Cool-Dry, a material that carries moisture away from the back instead of holding on to it. That makes a difference during longer and more intensive schooling, when the back under the saddle heats up fastest.
For the fit, Eskadron works with three features that complement each other. In the saddle area there are anti-slip silicone surfaces that make the contact surface between saddle and pad grippier. At the front, the Innostrap system controls the attachment. The girth loops have three fixing options, so you can match the attachment to your own saddle and girth. Together they limit shifting of the pad, even with horses that have a lot of movement.
The finish rounds off the whole: a glossy edge, a contrasting corded jewel binding and double emblems on both sides.
