The Pikeur Linnett SD 6505 are riding tights: Pikeur files them under its tights, the styles without a button or zip. They have a high waist, screen-printed silicone Full Grip with no knee seam, taped elastic seams and a side stripe with a phone pocket on both sides. The fabric is a four-way stretch of 78% polyamide and 22% elastane. Maddelin carries them in black, sandstorm, nightblue and deep ocean.
About these riding tights
The Linnett comes from Pikeur's Athleisure collection. Pikeur calls the model the Linnett Tight SD 6505 Highwaist Seamless, and since 2026 also the Linnett Tight GripTec.
Tights with the details of breeches
You pull riding tights on without a button or zip. Even so, the Linnett does not look like ordinary sports leggings: the waistband is made from the outer fabric, with belt loops and an elastic insert. At the front there are angular pockets, at the back mock flap pockets with a press stud. A phone pocket is built into the side stripes on both sides, so your phone can go left or right.
Seams that leave no marks
The name Seamless does not mean the Linnett has no seams at all. Pikeur uses taped, elastic seams and says they leave no marks on the skin and are comfortable to wear. There is no seam at the knee: the silicone grip in Athleisure design is a full grip (Vollbesatz), with no knee seam. The legs are hemmed.
What SD means
At Pikeur, SD is short for Siebdruck: screen printing. So the grip is not a separate sewn-on piece but a silicone pattern printed onto the fabric itself. Pikeur states that the silicone for this grip is made in Germany. From 2026, Pikeur calls the same technique GripTec, which is why you will find the Linnett under both names.
A shaping fabric
Pikeur describes the fabric as a four-way stretch with a body-sculpting effect, for a slightly shaping line. On its Linnett feature page, Pikeur also states that the fabric dries quickly and is easy care. The composition is 78% polyamide and 22% elastane.
Four colours, a wide size range
Maddelin carries the Linnett in black, sandstorm, nightblue and deep ocean, in sizes XXS and S to XXXXL (Pikeur 32 and 36 to 48; Maddelin does not carry XS). Not every colour comes in every size. All of them are colours for schooling, lessons and everyday riding. Pikeur makes a separate white Linnett (6575 Opaque) in a different fabric; Maddelin does not carry it under this product.
