In Pikeur's catalogue, the 6305 Highwaist goes by the name Linn SD. These are women's riding breeches with a high waist, a wide waistband with three fastenings and Full Grip: a full screen-printed silicone pattern. The fabric is a breathable Tech-Jersey of 73% polyamide and 27% elastane. Maddelin carries them in white and taupe.
About these breeches
The 6305 Highwaist belongs to Pikeur's Basic Collection. Pikeur sells the model as the Linn SD; 6305 is the model number, which you will also find on the label. These are classic breeches with a fastening rather than riding tights: you put them on like ordinary trousers, with a fastening.
What does SD mean?
At Pikeur, SD stands for Siebdruck, German for screen printing. The grip is a silicone pattern printed directly onto the fabric, in the PA design (Pikeur Athleisure). Pikeur calls it Vollbesatz, a full grip, so not just at the knee. The same PA silicone print appears in a smaller version under the front pocket and on the wide belt loop. According to Pikeur, the silicone for this grip is made in Germany. Since 2026, Pikeur has used the name GripTec for this technique.
Waist and finish
The waist sits high. The wide waistband closes with three fastenings, and the belt loops sit on the band, so you can wear a belt. At the front there are narrow slanted pockets. At the back, the yoke is cut in a slight heart shape, with two mock flap pockets that close with a press stud.
Fabric
Pikeur describes the fabric as a breathable Tech-Jersey technical fabric. The main fabric is 73% polyamide and 27% elastane. Pikeur publishes nothing about a lining or about the composition of the grip.
Two colours, two roles
In white, the 6305 works both at home and at shows: white is allowed in every discipline. Rules differ by federation, discipline, level and country and change regularly: check your federation's current rules. Taupe is a neutral colour for schooling, lessons and everyday riding.
Maddelin carries the white version in sizes XXS, XXL and XXXL and the taupe version in XS and S.
Watch the name: the Winter Linn SD, which you will also find at Maddelin, is a different Pikeur model (the Linn SO, a softshell winter model). The 6305 is the Tech-Jersey Linn, without a winter inner side.
