The BR Staart en manen lotion is a 1000 ml care spray with macadamia nut oil for coat, mane and tail. It conditions, detangles and adds shine, and according to BR repels dust and dirt. For owners who work through a full tail every day and want to keep the hair intact.
About this mane and tail lotion
BR describes the action briefly and concretely: the lotion with macadamia nut oil conditions, detangles and adds shine, and makes coat, mane and tail soft, glossy, free of tangles and fuller. According to BR the spray reduces the risk of hair breakage and counters the formation of fly egg nests. Regular use keeps coat, mane and tail easy to comb through and protects against dust and dirt.
The component BR puts forward is macadamia nut oil. You use the lotion on wet as well as dry hair, and according to BR it suits every coat type and every coat colour. No rinsing needed: you spray it evenly onto a clean coat, mane and tail, let it dry, and then brush through. That last part matters: BR lets the product dry before brushing, rather than leaving it briefly and combing straight away.
BR adds a few clear conditions. Shake the bottle well before use, try the product on a small patch of coat before first use, and use it externally only. For an optimal result BR recommends washing the horse beforehand with its own BR Conditioning Shampoo, article 772006.
This 1000 ml bottle is the large size: BR also offers the same lotion in 500 ml under article number 772011. Within our range this is the classic lotion with a plant oil; if you would rather have a spray built around cedarwood oil, the alternative is Leovet Coat Sheen & Tangle Free in 550 ml.
